Elastit EVV-11 is supplied to troops, in particular, in the form of the standard SZ-1E charge weighing 1 kg. The charge consists of an elastic strip 2 m long, 50 mm wide, and 7 mm thick. The strip is rolled into a coil 14 cm in diameter. To prevent sticking, the layers are separated with fluoroplastic tape, and the entire charge is packed in a polyethylene bag. The charge may be used as a concentrated 1 kg charge or, by cutting the strip into sections, as smaller charges.

SZ-1E charges are packed 24 units per box; in addition to the charges themselves, the box contains 44 steel clamps for fastening the charges to demolition targets, 3 wooden templates for making initiator wells in the explosive mass of the charge, and 3 knives for cutting the charge. The box weight is 39 kg. The explosive may be used without removing it from the box as a concentrated charge weighing 24 kg.
