Aquatols

Aquatols are substances which, together with an oxidizer (ammonium nitrate, sodium perchlorate), explosives (TNT, RDX), and other additives, contain a certain amount (5–20%) of water. The advantage of water-containing explosives is their high density, water resistance, and safety in handling, due to their low sensitivity to mechanical and thermal effects.
