RDG-M Smoke Grenade

The RDG-M grenade is a Russian instant-action hand smoke grenade designed to deploy a smoke screen for concealment during combat operations by an individual soldier or a small unit in close combat.

Its operating principle differs significantly from that of the RDG-2 and RDG-P. The design is similar to conventional high-explosive fragmentation hand grenades: it has a fuze with a safety pin, pull ring, and safety lever.
