KD-MV Detonator Cap

The KD-MV detonator cap is a Soviet stab-type detonator cap used in the design of mechanical fuzes to initiate explosives by means of stab mechanisms. It consists of a casing and a cup loaded with a stab-sensitive composition, lead azide, and PETN. The joint between the casing and the cup is coated with shellac varnish. The cup has a reduced thickness in its central area.
