M-1 Detonator Cap

The M-1 detonator cap is a Soviet stab-initiated detonator cap used in the designs of mechanical fuzes to initiate explosives by means of stab mechanisms. It consists of a casing and a cup loaded with stab-sensitive priming composition, lead azide, and tetryl. The joint between the casing and the cup is coated with shellac varnish. The cup has a reduced thickness in its central part.
