The mine consists of: a control unit, 190 mm in diameter and 125 mm high, with an explosive charge of 1 kg of TNT; an actuating cable; and an anti-probe sensor, 230/45 mm in diameter/height, made of lacquered fabric between two contact grids, which is connected to the control unit by a cable. When pressure is applied to the grid with a probe, the lacquered fabric is depressed, closing the mine’s electrical circuit and initiating detonation. The mine has a built-in self-destruct device set from 1 to 180 days.

The mine is emplaced in soil (snow) with a camouflage layer of up to 10 cm. The anti-probe sensor is installed above the control unit.
